$134M Fleet Landing Development Begins

Fleet Landing at Nocatee, a senior living community with a projected cost of $134 million, is moving ahead at 555 Crosstown Drive.

Brasfield & Gorrie LLC has been issued a $9.81 million permit as of Monday to begin site preparation. This includes land clearing, grading, paving, utility installation, and stormwater management. The site will also maintain about 1.9 acres of wetland buffer.

Engineering for the project is being handled by Goodson, Bergen and Associates.

Ponte Vedra Pine Co LLC is developing the community, which will offer a mix of independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Plans include a nine-story independent living tower with 107 units and a three-story facility providing 44 beds for residents who need custodial care. Amenities will feature a variety of dining venues, a café, library, classroom, art room, bridge room, and an art gallery.

According to city documents, the community will be built in three phases. Phase one will deliver the independent living tower, the assisted living/memory care building, 34 flat-style units, and 21 cottages. Phase two will add 17 flats, six cottages, and four larger cottage estates. The third phase will bring 179 more units and a second tower.

Construction will get underway once the site work is complete.
