The main house is located at 1725 Beach Avenue, and the detached garage and guest suite sit across the street at 1726 Beach Avenue.
This sale marks the highest recorded price for a property in Atlantic Beach, surpassing the previous record of $9.3 million for a home at 631 Beach Avenue, sold in October 2023.
The sellers, Mark and Meredith Frisch, sold the property to Christopher Bauer, who purchased it as trustee of the Coopurr Industries Trust.
The main residence spans 7,179 square feet on a 0.55-acre lot and was built in 2022. It features six bedrooms, five full bathrooms, a half-bath, a wet bar, and a wine cellar. Outside, there’s a heated saltwater pool and spa.
The detached guest suite, a 520-square-foot studio with a bathroom, sits on a 0.08-acre lot and was completed in 2023.
The property last changed hands in 2018 for $3.33 million, prior to the new construction.
Originally listed in June for $19 million, the final sale price came in 18.4% under asking—approximately $2,053 per square foot, per Zillow.
Mark Frisch is executive VP of Beaver Street Fisheries and Sea Best Seafood, and a former owner of the Jacksonville Armada FC soccer team. Bauer is an attorney with the firm Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball.
